My Guitar Collection
I got my first guitar at Service Merchandise in Jackson Mississippi around 1979. I don't have a picture of it but it was a Yamaha acoustic. Really played good for 150 bucks. My second guitar was an early 70's Gibson SG. I guess a bought it around 1980. Its been gone since about 84. I really gave it away and would give anything to have it back. It was my first real guitar and I used it for all of my first gigs in Thrust in Mississippi. Oh well, you live and learn.
Somwhere around 1981 or 82 I bought a Hondo II white Strat with maple neck but never got a pictures of it. It came from Morrison Bros Music in Jackson.
My third electric guitar was my Electra. I bought it at Mississippi Music in 1984. I trashed this guitar many times and it looked like this new in 1984 , then like this with stripes in 1985, then like this for a few days in 1986, then like this with stars in 1988 and finally like this cut like a Steve Vai guitar sorta from 1990 till today.
For christmas in 1986 my girlfriend at the time Susan bought me this 86 Pink Kramer Baretta. This is a pic from the day I got it in 86. I had until 1996 when it was sold but last year on ebay I found the exact guitar and replaced it.
In 1988 my good friend Kellie gave me this rg550. I still have it to this day and it looks like this now .The neck was broken and I replaced it with a maple neck. My friend Sheikster did the artwork on it also.
In 1988 I bought a Jackson USA made Soloist. It was stolen in 1991 out of the bus when I was with Sidewinder in Lancaster PA.
Also somewhere in 1990 I bought an Ibanez rg550 black with maple neck but sold it after about 6 months. Never even played it.
In 1991, after my Jackson was stolen Sidewinder helped me buy this 1988 Ibanez Root Beer JEM . Istill have it today. It was my main stage guitar till a couple of years ago.
Around 1994 I bought a Hamer guitar and sold it a year later. That catches me up on all the guitars before the ones you see below. It was just in the past few years I really started collecting guitars.
